This is quite sad post, as I am announcing that there won't be any design work on my blog for a while. I'm going to be focusing on my research project until after christmas so I won't be doing any modelling for a few weeks.
And I did record the score myself =]

Do the robot
Here's two renders of the sorting robot I've designed for Ebay. Cap'n Torrent's gonna have to be quick to escape DESU (Dedicated Ebay Sorting Unit)'s clutches. DESU has extendible arms for carrying bigger boxes. Oh, and just to clarify, my project will NOT be interactive.
Re-imagining the future.
Today's post contains a couple of images showing updates of the google and amazon environments Enjoy...
P.S. the large mouse pointers in Google are going to be searching the filing cabinets in the final animation. They represent you, dear readers, when you're trying to find out how many teeth a hippopotamus has.
<insert emote for emphasis on how amusing previous statement was> =P

Second post in one day? Scandalous...
I'm as shocked as you are that I'm posting multiple times within the same twenty-four hours, believe me... But here I am again, showing off another character that will be appearing in my animation, the cyberpolice.
landscaping is an art
I don't have much to show today, just a quick render I've done of my set for Google. Its just six rows of filing cabinets and the Google logo, but it does have z depth. A bit of feedback would help on this one, if you think the filing cabinets convincingly retreat into the distance, please leave a comment saying "success" if not the leave one saying "fail." I'm counting on you for this one...

Shiver m' Timbers!
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? well, yeah, Spongebob... Now if I asked "Who pillages websites without mercy?" the answer would be Cap'n Torrent, the scurviest scoundrel to ever terrorize the seven cyber-spaces! YAARGH!

Back on the net.
It's been a long time since I posted anything of worth on the internet... a very long time...
But enough nostalgia, It's a new year, with new projects, and (hopefully) a new, better motivated work ethic.
we shall see about the latter.
so, onto the first project, with a brief so lovingly copypasted by moi.
So, it's completely open ended, completely unbiased, and completely ridiculous because I have 2 WEEKS in which to complete it. better get a move on then =/
below is my mood board/style sheet. I will post more details on my plan at a later date.

The Brief:
Produce a short multimedia piece that informs about or illustrates Digital Piracy. So, it's completely open ended, completely unbiased, and completely ridiculous because I have 2 WEEKS in which to complete it. better get a move on then =/
