Represent Yourself

Here are the final images I submitted for the exhibition catalogue.

I've just realised this will be my last ever post at uni, and therefore the last time I use this blog. I'll admit I have become tired of education, but now that it's actually about to end I can't help but feel sad at the prospect... Ah well, I'm sure I'll get over it.

For the last time, This is Tom Waring, student, signing off );

Below is a selection of six images I'm debating for submission to the exhibition package. I can only submit five so one needs to go.

Rehash

After a certain amount of mucking about I've managed to make a half-decent smoke effect for the chimneys in my pollution poster. Ta da!

The Dangers of Global Warming.

I've been a busy bee today, and below is the image to prove it. It's a work in progress from one of the two posters I'm designing for my client project.

Look at this photograph...

Ok, so as part of my personal research project, I'm supposed to be producing photorealistic images. This is harder than it may sound. In order to achieve my goals I've started playing with a program called Vue 8 Frontier, which is a procedural landscape modelling and rendering tool. the results of my experimentations can be seen below...

P.S. Render times are a bitch.

Art at last!

Here are a couple of concepts for my client project. I have to design two posters about the positives and negatives of fossil and clean fuels.

These are just concepts to experiment with layouts and aren't representative of the final products.
